Return to top of page</li> </ul> <hr /> <h2 id="frontpage">Front page</h2>  <p> Odarka Polanskyj Stockert — an accomplished harpist with a repertoire spanning the centuries, from Classical to Broadway to Folk — performs on both the concert pedal harp and the folk harp, and has been playing professionally since the early 1980’s. Based in Millburn, New Jersey, she is available to play a variety of engagements; including weddings, corporate functions, holiday concerts, medieval events, and children’s programs. Additionally, she can arrange to perform with violin, flute, voice, or others, upon request. </p> <p> Commissioned works, including custom harp arrangements and original compositions, are also available. <span class="nowrap">(A great</span> one-of-a-kind gift!) It has exquisite workmanship and detailing, is fully gilded — and has an extraordinary sound with a full but gentle bass. It was lovingly rebuilt in 1998 by renown Wurlitzer expert Howard Bryan of Concord, Virginia. </p> <p> Her folk harp is an Italian made Salvi Renaissance model. It is smaller and less ornate than the concert harp — and, of course, produces a different range of sounds. Although parts of Odarka’s repertoire are ideally performed on one harp or the other, much of it can suit either instrument. </p> <hr /> <h2 id="bio">Bio</h2>  <p> Odarka was a long time student of celebrated concert harpist, the late Leone Paulson, of South Orange, New Jersey, with whom she performed as a member of the <em>Paulson Harp Ensemble.</em> She spent several summers in Dublin, Ireland, in workshop studies and participating in the <em>O’Carolan Irish Harp</em> and <em>Granard Harp Competitions,</em> winning awards and honors in both. </p> <p> She is also a collaborator of the <em>Yara Arts Group</em> based at the La Mama, ETC in New York and has performed in many Yara events and productions. Additionally, she is a founding member of <em>Glendalough’s Muse,</em> a celtic flute and harp duo and <em>Suenos del Alma,</em> a latin inspired harp and violin duo.
